The Day After the Launch
Yesterday we launched the website!
I finally had the freedom to tell everyone about our project, what it’s about, and why I’m doing it.
It has been great hearing the positive feedback and excitement over the project. So many people on board and sharing the site. A few of them even surprised me (maybe they didn’t read the synopsis?).
Another big event yesterday was that I entered the ATEOTD screenplay into a competition. I know the script needs more work, and I don’t expect to win at all… (it’s my first screenplay ever). I entered it because one of the main benefits of the BlueCat Screenplay Competition is that I get professional feedback (notes) on my entry. What works, what doesn’t work, and hopefully – how I can make it better.
Even though the winner isn’t announced till next April, I will get my notes back by November 10, which is perfect timing for me.
So until then, I’m going to sit on the script, let it breathe a bit, and focus on some of the connections/talent, and people I want to be involved with the project. I’m already connecting with one or two amazing people that would blow this thing open if they like the script… so stay tuned for that. Until then, keep loving. And makes sure you sign up on the email list to stay current on the project.
